Employment Conditions at Territory and Municipal Services

Staff of TAMS enjoy generous remunerations and conditions of employment provisions which are provided within the TAMS Enterprise Bargaining Agreement.

The following information provides a summary of some of the conditions available to permanent staff:

Leave

The generous leave package comprises

  • Annual Leave (annual credit of 20 days)
  • Annual Leave Bonus
  • Personal/Carer's Leave (annual credit of 18 days)
  • Other Paid Leave (may be granted for purposes considered reasonable)
  • Purchased Annual Leave (option of purchasing up to an additional 4 weeks per year subject to eligibility criteria)
  • Long Service Leave (accessible after 7 years service)
  • Maternity Leave (54 weeks leave of which 18 weeks are paid - subject to eligibility criteria)
  • Leave Without Pay

Other Benefits

TAMS Enterprise Agreement 2011/2013 Negotiations

Negotiations of the Territory and Municipal Services Directorate Enterprise Agreement 2011-2013 (TAMS EA) have now concluded.

Next Steps
The TAMS Enterprise Agreement must now go through a range of administrative processes before it can be approved by Fair Work Australia.
