National Capital Educational Tourism Project (www.ncetp.org.au (External Link))

The National Capital Educational Tourism Project (NCETP) is a joint initiative of the ACT Government and the National Capital Attractions Association (the body representing all 35 National Capital Attractions) to promote the National Capital as the leading educational tourism destination in Australia.  The goals of the NCETP are to increase educational visits by Australian school to the National Capital and to foster an awareness of national identity by promoting the educational opportunities available in the Region.

Tourism Research Australia’s (previously Bureau of Tourism Research) core activities centre around the conduct of two major travel surveys and its analytical and forecasting work.  A fact sheet explaining the National Visitor Survey and International Visitor Survey can be found in the ‘Latest Results’ section.

Tourism Forecasting Committee (previously Tourism Forecasting Council) was established to provide present and potential tourism investors, industry, and government(s) with consensus forecasts of activity across international, domestic, and outbound tourism sectors.

Sustainable Tourism Cooperative Research Centre (www.crctourism.com.au (External Link))

The Sustainable Tourism Cooperative Research Centre online bookshop holds research resources covering sustainability in travel and tourism in Australia. Publications are available as downloadable files or paperbacks covering major categories including destination management, wildlife tourism, environmental systems, protected area management and technology.
