Advertising Campaigns - 2007
Australian Capital Tourism's 2007 advertising activity began with the Egyptians antiquities from the Louvre campaign and competition activity, which hit the nation from November 2006 and continued until the end of February 2007.
In July, Australian Capital Tourism launched new creative for their brand and produced a tactical advertising campaign which ran for a period of six weeks over July and August. This included TVC, print and on-line to markets in the geographic regions of Sydney, Regional NSW, Qld and SA.

Tactical advertising campaign activity January - June 2007

Australian Capital Tourism has recently concluded a tactical advertising campaign which included TVC, print and on-line to markets in the geographic regions of NSW, Qld and SA.
The campaign included different themes such as:
- Canberra Getaway holiday bookings
- Winter Secrets
- See yourself in hibernation
- Novotel Balloon Fiesta
- The Rally of Canberra
- Anzac Day
- And other smaller events and tourism product promotions

Egyptians antiquities from the Louvre Campaign and Competition 2006-07
Australian Capital Tourism conducted a cooperative promotional campaign for the period from December 2006 – February 2007 to promote the National Gallery of Australia's summer exhibition Egyptians antiquities from the Louvre.
The campaign had an emarketing focus and included components such as:
- online advertising
- a targeted email campaign
- tickets and accommodation available to be booked online
- a competition to win a holiday to the exhibition in Canberra promoted via television advertising, email and our consumer website visitcanberra.com.au.
The successful campaign resulted in nearly 150,000 visitors to the exhibition and nearly 500 accommodation packages sold through the Canberra and Region Visitors Centre.

Brand Advertising Campaign 2007

Floriade Advertising Campaign
Australian Capital Tourism conducted an advertising campaign to encourage interstate visitation to Floriade 2007 - Aussie icons, myths & legends. This included television, on-line, a radio promotion andnational print and press advertising.
