ACT Sport and Recreation Minister's Advisory Council

The ACT Sport and Recreation Minister's Advisory Council provides policy advice and information to assist the Government in the development and implementation of sport and recreation policies

The Council provides advice to the Minister on issues including, but not restricted to, grants and funding priorities, facility needs, industry development, and participation and equity issues.

The Council is appointed by the ACT Minister for Sport and Recreation. Members are selected based on their skills, knowledge and background, aiming to ensure that council membership reflects the diversity of the ACT sport and recreation industry.
