2008 Recreation Summit

rec_summit_300

Friday May 16 and Saturday May 17, 2008

The 2008 Recreation Summit was successfully held on Friday 16 and Saturday 17 May 2008. The Summit aimed to invigorate active living, investigate local challenges regarding it in the ACT and to ignite opportunities for the future.

The Summit brought together expert speakers, with the latest research and case studies and gave delegates the opportunity to put forward their ideas for future direction of recreation in the Territory.

Summit Reports

McLaughlin Sports Consultancy was contracted by SRS to collate the information and ideas raised by the Summit delegates and to prepare two individual reports (Findings Report and Recommendations Report), guided by the feedback gathered in the Summit discussion sessions. This information will assist SRS, and other key recreation delivery agencies, to offer improved services to the ACT community.
