Extension of Outside School Hours care for Teenagers with Disability

Outside School Hours Care for Teenagers with Disability is an Australian Government initiative that supports teenagers with disability and their families by funding services to deliver flexible outside school hours and holiday care.
The activity addresses a number of areas of unmet need in service provision for teenagers with disability and their families. A particular focus of this activity is to increase access to outside school hours and holiday care for teenagers with disability aged 12 to 18 years.

In May 2009 the Australian Government announced an additional $5.1 million over four years to further increase the number of outside school hours care places for teenagers with disability.
