Kangaroos
Canberra is unique in comparison to other Australian capital cities with large populations of free-ranging kangaroos in the urban areas. The following information has assisted in determining the approach taken to manage the environmental, economic and social impacts of eastern grey kangaroos in the ACT, while ensuring the welfare of the animal.
