Graffiti
Minimising the impact of graffiti is important to maintain the amenity of commercial and residential neighbourhoods for the people that live, work, play and visit Canberra.
Graffiti Removal Program
Graffiti ‘hotspots’ are inspected weekly and the graffiti is removed from public property within 3 days of reporting or within 24 hours if it is offensive. Elsewhere around Canberra, graffiti inspections are carried out weekly. The ACT Government targets the high visitation places such as the City and Town Centres and high visibility areas such as road side underpasses. You are strongly encouraged to report graffiti to Canberra Connect on 13 22 81.
Graffiti on privately owned assets is the responsibility of the asset owner.
