Organised Events

Parks, Conservation and Lands hosts hundreds of organised events throughout the ACT each year. 

This includes events and activities in urban parks, shopping centres, Namadgi National Park, Murrumbidgee River Corridor, Canberra Nature Park, Tidbinbilla and forestry land.

These events are primarily organised by sporting and recreational groups, community groups and schools. 

Many events, such as the Rally of Canberra , the Mont 24hr Mountain Bike Race and the National Sled Dog Championships , have become high profile annual attractions for the Canberra region.

For approval to hold an event in Namadgi National Park, Canberra Nature Park, Tidbinbilla, Murrumbidgee River Corridor, Googong Foreshores and Forestry lands, please submitt the following Application Form:

For approval to hold events and activites on other Unleased Terriroty Land such as in town and distrcit parks, shopping centres and the City Centre, please submitt the following Application Form:
