Landcare

Landcare is a national movement to promote careful management of Australia's soil, water and vegetation for the benefit of present and future generations. Landcare is about communities and Government working together to reduce land and water degradation and to develop sustainable use of our natural resources. A typical Landcare group has a project site where people monitor the water and wildlife, look after the soil, replant native vegetation, and work to improve the environment.
