Surveys

Parks Conservation and Lands regularly seeks community feedback about the management of all of the silhouette1ACTs parks and open spaces (including shopping precincts) as well as feedback on the experiences that are had. Survey consists of 1200 telephone interviews, in-park surveys in most places, and self complete surveys in Tidbinbilla and Namadgi. PCL uses the results for planning, programming, reporting and bidding for funding.

A report presents findings and recommendations arising from the large scale community survey, conducted with ACT residents, in relation to usage and satisfaction with the ACT parks, reserves and open spaces.
