Bushfire Information

• Notification of prescribed burns undertaken by ACT Parks and Conservation Service are placed on the TAMS Website Media Releases.

Recreational Area - Closures

• Cotter Campground
  Closed until 31 August 2012  due to construction of the Enlarged Cotter Dam. Please check this page for updates before your next visit. 
  
• Cotter Avenue
  Closed on 4 January 2010 for public safety during construction of the Enlarged Cotter Dam (the tree-lined picnic area with the children’s’ playground at Cotter Reservoir). The other picnic areas nearby remain open. There are also many other recreational areas in the ACT to visit.
  
• Cotter Reserve and Angle Crossing
  ACTEW is undertaking a range of works to secure water for our region. From time to time, some projects will impact on popular recreation areas such as Cotter Reserve and Angle Crossing.
