Traffic Barriers

Roads ACT is in the process of replacing older painted steel traffic barriers with new, low maintenance galvanised (flex beam) barriers.

For this reason the condition of a number of old steel barriers has been left to deteriorate. Some of these old barriers are not very visually appealing at the moment but it is important to note that they are being replaced as part of a strategic upgrading program to meet current Australian Standards and reduce maintenance costs.
