Major permanent structures are not permitted within stormwater easements. Some small structures are permitted, however their location and design must comply with certain safety considerations and must not restrict maintenance service access to the easement. Prior to any construction you are required to obtain approval from ACT Planning and Land Authority (ACTPLA).
