Accredited bus operators
Bus operators are required by legislation to be accredited before beginning operation.
The Accredited Bus Operators list (
Word 50Kb) will be regularly updated by the Road Transport Authority.
To ensure that the bus service you are hiring is indeed accredited, the bus operator must appear on the list. All accredited buses should also have displayed on the front wheel arch either side of the bus their unique accreditation number.
Example Number: ACTBS000TC
- ACT = Australian Capital Territory
- BS = Bus Service
- 000 = Number shows exclusive accreditation number
- TC or RR = Tour and Charter, Regular Route
