ACTION Corporate Information

ACTION - the Australian Capital Territory Internal Omnibus Network. ACTION is a statutory authority within the ACT Government. Our number one priority is customer service. ACTION provides scheduled route and school services and specialised transport to the ACT community. In addition ACTION also supports a number of sporting, cultural and local events within the ACT. ACTION employs over 800 staff including:

• Drivers (over 65% of all staff)
• Workshop mechanics
• Detailers
• Administrators
• Marketers
• Human Resources
• Finance
• Call Centre Operators

Head office is located in Tuggeranong providing corporate support services to two business units. The South Regional Business Unit is located in Tuggeranong; the North Regional Business Unit is located in Belconnen. ACTION has a total of 363 Buses and is an exciting, dynamic and challenging environment to work in, operating 365 days of the year. ACTION completes 3,000 trips per day and transports 16 million passengers over 21 million kilometers per year.
