Pay Parking in Civic, Woden, Belconnen and Tuggeranong

This page contains information about pay parking in Civic, Woden, Belconnen and Tuggeranong.

Pay parking is currently in place in the City (Civic), Woden (Phillip), Belconnen, Tuggeranong (Greenway), Dickson, Deakin, Griffith (Manuka) and Kingston.

The Government is keen to improve the efficiency of the road and parking infrastructure by encouraging greater use of public transport, cycling and walking. Pay parking helps to achieve these objectives. Pay parking also encourages the use of Park 'n' Ride and "3 for FREE" facilities, and helps manage the growing demand for carparks.

NOTE: The multi-stay car park on the corner of Nettlefold and Cohen Streets (Block 14 Section 14)  in Belconnen has been closed to parking as the site has been sold.

Due to the sale of Section 63 in the City, the City West 3 for FREE parking facility will be relocated from the Section 63 car park (off London Circuit) to the Territory multi-stay ticket car park off Barine Drive near the Lake Burley Griffin Boat Hire and Ferry Terminal.  The 3 for FREE parking scheme will be operational in the car park off Barine Drive as of 7.30am on Thursday 13 March 2008.
