A Report on Priorities of Work

The report " Canberra's Commuter Bicycle Network- a report on priorities for work" was prepared by a local consultant firm, McCann Associates and finalised in June 2005.

This report looks in more detail at locations originally identified in the Master plan, covering pedestrian and cycling infrastructure requirements for the next 10 years, developed jointly by Roads ACT and ACT Planning Authority.

Apart from looking at the specific detail of each location, the report identifies a methodology for ranking projects for attention as well as providing an estimate of the project cost.

This report will form the basis of future funding bids for cycling and pedestrian infrastructure requirements and has been well received by the cycling community including Pedal Power, the key cycling advocacy group.
