The Nursery provides a number of services for government, commercial and private customers in Canberra and surrounding areas.

Wholesale

General conditions of trade:

• Register as COD customer for 6 month period, with the option to convert to 30 day Credit customer upon successful application.
• Bona fide landscape and horticulture trade only.
• Minimum sale:  $250.
• Minimum quantity: 5 of any one species.
• Please allow a minimum of 24 hours to complete orders.
• Advanced stock purchased on customer’s behalf requires a 50% deposit.
• COD -cash, EFTPOS or credit card (Bankcard, Mastercard, Visa or American Express) only.  Please note cheque payments not accepted for COD customers
• Holding Charges: Free for 30 days past agreed delivery/pick-up date.  Thereafter, 10% of invoice per month or part thereof.
• As a registered wholesale customer you will be able to purchase plants 7 days per week at our Garden Centre. (Prices will vary from the wholesale catalogue price) Identification will be required.

Credit:

• Approved credit customers - Strictly 30 days from issue of invoice.
• Overdue accounts in 60 days will be placed on hold.  Overdue account in 90 days will be suspended, and application will be required to re-instate the account after payment has been made.  Overdue accounts may be subject to an administration fee of 1.5% of the overdue amount, per month.

Guarantee:

• Plants are guaranteed to be healthy and true-to type at time of delivery or pick up.
• Claims for damage or shortages will not be recognised unless they are received within 24 hours of receipt of goods.
• In the event that plants supplied are not in accordance with label or description, or for another reason do not meet customer requirements our liability is limited to, at our discretion, either refund of purchase price or replacement with new plants when available.
• No warranty is offered as to performance of plants once they have been planted.
  

Contract Growing

The Nursery accepts and processes contract growing orders from any customers who are prepared to enter into a contract and pay the necessary deposit on signing a contract.

Contract growing information:

• Forward orders over $5,000 value: 20% deposit.
• All contract grown orders: 20% non-refundable security deposit.
• Minimum value $500.
• Minimum quantity of 40 plants per species.
• If order is cancelled or reduced within 30 days prior to agreed delivery date then the Nursery reserves the right to invoice the customer for the full value of plants not required that we are unable to be sell within 30 days after agreed delivery date. Advance orders are subject to crop availability at time of collection.

Garden Centre Plant Issue

The Nursery's Garden Centre administers ACT Government's Free Plant Issue Scheme, whereby qualifying ratepayers are entitled to receive a predetermined number of trees and shrubs. More Information about Free Plant Issue Scheme
