Welcome to the Yarralumla Nursery Garden Centre.

The Garden Centre trades 7 days a week - Spring to Summer  9.00am to 5.00pm and Autumn to Winter  8.30am to 4.30pm. Please call the Garden Centre for trading hours on the various public holidays throughout the year.

Overview:

The Garden Centre, in its current location, has been open to the public since 1994.

You can be confident with your cold hardy purchase as all the plants we sell, are grown right here on site by the production side of the Nursery. This allows the general public to access an extremely wide range of locally grown plants, suitable for our climate.

We pride ourselves in supplying quality cold and dry hardy plants for the Canberra and surrounding region. We service Plant Issue customers, rural land holders, home gardeners, and community groups. Also if you’re a senior citizen then don't forget to show your card to receive 15% off all full priced stock.

What We Grow:

Some of the different lines of plants that we specialise in include;

• Tube stock ideal for rural plantings, e.g. windbreaks, shade trees for stock.
• Rare and Threatened plants.
• Local species to the ACT.
• Bird attracting plants.

We have a wide range of plants from ground covers to tall trees, including both Australian and Exotic plants.

Garden Advice:

During the years that the Garden Centre has been operating, its dedicated and knowledgeable team has created a series of 'Free Advice' information sheets. Please click on the link to see the full list and download the free PDF information sheets or come in and visit us for free advice.

Market Day:

The first Saturdays of the autumn and spring months, the Garden Centre holds a Market Day. These days are fun and exciting days as you not only get to talk with expert local growers but you also get the buy their beautiful plants! Quality Assurance:

In 2011 the Garden Centre received a Nursery and Garden Industry accreditation. This means that the Garden Centre met all the standards established by the Australian Nursery and Garden Industry. This accreditation gives customers the assurance that the Garden Centre is committed to providing the highest quality service, with reliability and professionalism. Each year a representative from NGIA comes out and carefully goes through each assessment item to make sure that we not only still meeting all the standards but that we are also continually improving all aspects of our service.
