Information on the Sustainability Policy Unit, its policies, sustainability reporting and the Biosphere Reserve Proposal

  • Sustainability Policy Unit
    The Sustainability Policy Unit is responsible for delivering some of the Government’s key sustainability commitments.
  • ACT Biosphere Reserve Proposal
    A biosphere reserve includes one or more protected areas and surrounding lands that are managed to combine both conservation and sustainable use of natural resources.
  • ACT Sustainability Policy
    On 27 March 2003, the Chief Minister launched People Place Prosperity: a policy for sustainability in the ACT. This document is the ACT Government’s policy commitment to sustainability.
