Recycling Reusable Items

The Reusables Facilities at the Mugga Lane and Mitchell Resource Management Centres accept used goods for resale. Acceptance is at the discretion of facility operators. For further details visit our Reusable Services Page.

Other options that will keep second-hand goods out of landfill include trash and treasure markets, garage sales, internet services such as Allclassifieds, Yoink, Freecycle, the local Trading Post newspaper, Canberra Times free advertisements on Tuesdays, charity shops and second-hand dealers.
