Mugga Lane Resource Management Centre

The Reusables Facility is open seven days from 8.30 am to 4.30 pm for the acceptance of goods that have resale value. Acceptance of goods is at the discretion of the staff member on duty at the drop off point. These goods are not available for purchase until further notice.

The Mugga Lane Resource Management Centre is located on Mugga Lane, Symonston.

The Centre is open from 7:30am to 5:00pm - 7 days a week (closed Christmas Day and Good Friday).
Centre gates close at 5pm.  During busy times there can be queues to enter the Centre. 
Users must ensure that they arrive with sufficient time to enter before the gates close.

The following recycling services are available at the Mugga Lane Resource Management Centre :

• Paper and cardboard;
• Glass jars and bottles;
• Rigid plastic containers;
• Milk and juice cartons;
• Aluminium and steel cans, including empty aerosols;
• Car batteries; 
• Motor oil; (Word 24KB)
• Cooking oil (limit of 10 litres per customer)
• Halon fire extinguishers;
• Fluorescent lights;
• Household Hazardous Waste (cleaning products, pesticides etc);
• Mobile phones;
• Gas cylinders;
• Paint (limit of 10 litres per customer);
• Car bodies, white goods and other metals;
• Garden waste at Corkhill Bros;
• Computers (charges apply PDF 172KB); and
• Reusables Facility.

If you want to bring unsorted waste to Mugga Lane Landfill, charges (PDF 172KB) will apply. To save money, take a little time to sort out any reusable and recyclable items before you get there.
