Construction and Demolition Recycling Facilities
There are several Construction and Demolition recycling organisations in the ACT.
The ACT Government's Construction and Demolition recycling contractor, ACT Recycling is located on Mugga Lane, Symonston at the Mugga Lane Resource Management Centre.
The vast majority of materials used within the Construction and Demolition industry can be readily re-used and recycled. Through the implementation of simple actions, it is easy to minimise the total amount of materials required and to ensure the use of more sustainable materials and practices. Along with the increases in landfill fees, this indicates that significant benefits can be gained by implementing small, yet significant practices as part of your construction and demolition activities.
