2009 - 10 Renovations

The ACT Government allocated $2,723,000 in 2008/09 for renovations to Albert Hall. The Commonwealth Government also allocated $500,000 in 2009/2010.

The ACT Government has established a Reference Group to advise on the renovations. This Group has met and considered the options for renovations of the key areas below and continues to meet regularly to review and over see the project. The Terms of Reference provides more detail and the roles and membership of the Group.

The key areas to be renovated are:

  • Roof
  • Kitchen- Completed May 2009
  • Exterior Paint and
  • Interior Paint.
