Renew your dog registration

Lifetime Registration comes into affect on the 1st of May 2008. Once you have paid your Renewal you will be automatically transfered to Lifetime Registration. Renewal Notices will no longer be issued after 30 April 2009.

Dog registration is compulsory in the ACT when a dog is more than eight weeks old.

Concession Payments

Concessions are not available via the online payments site for registration renewals. Application for concessions on registration renewal must be made at Canberra Connect Shopfronts or over the counter at Domestic Animal Services.

If you have already applied for the discount in person and your renewal notice shows that you are already paying a discounted amount then you can pay the discounted amount over the Internet.

If your renewal notice does not show that you are paying a discounted amount you cannot pay the discounted amount over the internet. You will need to pay your renewal using the other payment options below. If you have applied for a discount but the discount is not yet visible on your renewal notice you will still need to pay your renewal using the other payment options until your discount is processed and is visible on your renewal notice.

Discounts not visible on renewal notices usually occur if you apply for the discount near to when your renewal notice is issued. Your next renewal notice should include the discount.

To make a payment you will need your dog's registration number as it appears on your renewal notice.
