Linking to the TAMS Website
Creating a link to the TAMS website
You are encouraged to seek written permission from TAMS prior to creating a link to the TAMS web site.
Requests must be lodged in writing and include the following information:
- the URL (address) of your site;
- a brief description of your site;
- appropriate contact details (e.g. e-mail or postal address) so that you can be advised of the outcome of the request.
Generally speaking, permission to link to the TAMS web site will not be granted if:
- inclusion on the requesting site implies the ACT Government endorses the site or product;
- the requesting site uses www.tams.act.gov.au solely for commercial practices;
- the context of the material is changed technically (e.g. the material is framed and users are unable to determine the location of the original material).
Requests may be sent to TAMS via the Canberra Connect Feedback Form .

Link to TAMS website using a Graphic or Text Link
Links to the TAMS web site must make use of the linking source code and corresponding graphic (where relevant).

Please provide written notification upon establishing a link to the TAMS web site. This should include the following information:
- the URL (address) of your site(s),
- a brief description of your site(s), and
- appropriate contact details (e.g. e-mail or postal address).
Legal Notice
Approval to create a link to the TAMS web site is given on the following basis only:
- permission to link to the TAMS web site is non-assignable, non-transferable, and non-exclusive
- TAMS reserves the right to revoke approval at any time and for any reason.
- neither the image nor the source code is to be altered in any way;
- the TAMS logo or linking source code cannot be used for any purpose other than to create a link to www.tams.act.gov.au; and
- any changes are considered a breach of copyright.
