Mitchell Resource Management Centre

The Reusables facility is open seven days a week from 7.30 am to 5.00 pm for the acceptance and sale of goods. Only goods with resale value will be accepted and acceptance of these goods is at the discretion of the staff member on duty.

The Mitchell Resource Management Centre is located on Flemington Road, Mitchell.
The Centre is open from 7:30am to 5:00pm - 7 days a week (closed Christmas Day and Good Friday).
Centre gates close at 5pm.  During busy times there can be queues to enter the Centre.  Users must ensure that they arrive with sufficient time to enter before the gates close.

• Glass jars and bottles;
• Rigid plastic containers;
• Milk and juice cartons;
• Aluminium and steel cans, including empty aerosols;
• Fire extinguishers;
• fluorescent lights;
• Mobile phones;
• Car batteries;

• Cooking oil (limit of 10 litres per customer);
• Paint (limit of 10 litres per customer);
• Gas cylinders; and
• White goods;
• Computers
• Reusables Facility;

If you want to bring unsorted waste to Mitchell Resource Management Centre, charges (PDF 172KB) will apply. To save money, take a little time to sort out any reusable and recyclable items before you get there.
