The decision to accept the items offered rest solely with the contractors operating these services. In determining whether to accept or reject, the contractors will take into account the quality and the level of demand for the item. If the item is rejected an explanation for the rejection will be provided.

Unacceptable Items
Unacceptable items are those that have been assessed as requiring an inordinate amount of repair, deemed irrepairable, contaminated in any way or considered to be unuseable.
Items that will not be accepted at any time:
- Builders waste
- Tyres
- Garden waste
- Chemicals
- Pornographic materials
- Food waste
